This picture shows a very large pendant shade   It is lit with a three light suspension unit  and kept level by three piano wires

It is very difficult to put a diffuser in the shades with sloping sides.  To do this we need to inset the diffuser from the edge of the shade and add an extra ring or support the diffuser with a rod.
